As H. E. A. M is more than just words; it’s a commitment to transforming lives, nurturing souls, and bridging communities. ⁸This one could say, “Igniting hearts with faith, hope, and love.” (Our Eucharistic Adoration Ministry invites you to spend quiet, prayerful time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. This ministry provides opportunities for personal reflection, deep prayer, and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ through the practice of Eucharistic Adoration.)
We are an apostolate for the promotion of faith in, love for and adoration of Jesus, truly present in the most Blessed Sacrament, working for the salvation and sanctification of souls and the glory of God. We provide education on the Real Presence, which helps to promote belief in and love of God in the Eucharist. We help to establish, organize, expand, revive and maintain Eucharistic adoration.
More on how we fulfill this mission :
We promote Eucharistic miracles, frequent Communion, even daily if possible and more. We also encourage and educate the devotees on frequent visits to the blessed sacrament and the frequent spiritual communion.
God is really, truly and substantially present in the most Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist. Therefore, the Eucharist is certainly “the source and summit of the Church’s life and mission” (Lumen Gentium, 11). At the Last Supper, on the night He was betrayed, our Savior Jesus Christ instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of His Body and Blood (Sacrosanctum Concillium, 47). The Eucharist is the sacrament that Jesus Christ established when “He took bread, and when He had given thanks He broke it and gave it to them, saying ‘This IS My Body, which is given for you, Do this in remembrance of Me’ and likewise the chalice, saying, ‘This chalice which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My Blood.”
At the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, when a Catholic priest follows this command of Jesus and offers the words of consecration, by these words of Christ and the invocation of the Holy Spirit, the bread and wine are permanently changed (transubstantiated), and they become Jesus: His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity (CCC 1333, 1373-76, 1406, 1410, 1412-1413). The Eucharist is Christ’s complete and personal gift of Himself to us under the appearances of bread and wine.
Jesus, the Truth Himself, informed us: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this Bread will live forever… Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For My Flesh is true food, and My Blood is the true drink” (John 6:51, 54-55). In his very first encyclical, Pope St. John Paul II reminded us that through the Eucharist, “each Christian receives the saving power of redemption” (Redemptor Hominis, 20). Catholics receive and adore God in the Eucharist.
Jesus Real Presence remains in this sacrament permanently and does not vanish after Mass. Hosts remaining after Holy Communion are kept in a tabernacle. During the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a Host is placed in a sacred vessel called a Monstrance (CCC 1377, 1379) and at least one person must be present at all times.
In addition to Mass and Holy Communion, we are called to adore the Eucharist, exposed in a Monstrance and before the Tabernacle. Eucharistic adoration is the practice of adoring God in the most Holy Eucharist. “The worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass is of inestimable value for the life of the Church. It is the responsibility of each one of us to encourage, also by our personal witness, the practice of Eucharistic adoration, and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in particular, as well as prayer of adoration before Christ present under the Eucharistic species” (St. Pope John Paul II, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, No. 25). Eucharistic spirituality “embraces the whole of life” (Pope Benedict XVI, Sacramentum Caritatis, 77-78).
Our ministry helps to ensure that scheduled adorers are always present when Our Lord is exposed either in the main body of the church or an online zoom chapel. At the same time where ever the people adore the most Blessed Sacrament through the zoom that place becomes a real chapel of the eucharistic adoration. Many have testified, since they have received healing and graces. We help to recruit and train scheduled adorers and an adoration coordinating team of laity from within each parish, and provide comprehensive organizational resources.
Our mission includes providing retreats, one day conventions, and organising adorations in different parishes with the Collaboration of the Parish priest. Online adorations through the zoom are conducted hourly on different devotions , as well as silent adorations round the clock.
The mission of the Eucharistic Adoration Ministry is to foster a deep reverence and love for the Eucharist by encouraging everyone to spend time in adoration and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
We aim to create an atmosphere of reverence, peace, and contemplation, allowing individuals to experience the profound presence of Christ.
